KENYAN CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS 2010

1. PARTICIPANTS – Scouts, scout leaders, former scouts, trainers, parents, friends of the scouts & invitation from zonal NSOs and others
2. HOW?
• Founderee camp & Founder’s Day – February 2010
• Provincial Scout Competitions & Rover Challenge – June 2010
• 13th World Scout Moot – 27th July – 7th August 2010
• National Scout Competitions & Rover Challenge – July/August 2010
• Patron’s Day – July/August 2010. NOTE: The Patron’s day will be held immediately after the national competitions so that all the competitors representing the whole country will attend the Patron’s day at state House or Rowallan camp and the winners are awarded there together with other awardees.
• Climax on 24th November 2010 with a national event at KICC. or Uhuru Park or otherwise with a procession to St John’s church, Pumwani.

5. FEE
The participants will pay some fee to cater for programme. However, they will cater for their own transport and upkeep.

The climax of the celebration will be launching the centenary peace garden on 24th November 2010 at Rowallan scouts camp
