
The National Rover Scouts Moot is around the corner promising exciting, educational and fun moments.
- Dates & Venue: Scheduled for 7th–12th October 2025 at Egerton University Grounds
- Who Can Participate:
- Rovers aged 18–26 .
- International Rovers are welcomed — arrangements made via international commissioner Kenya Scouts Association via email: internationalcommissioner@kenyascouts.org
- Older individuals (26+) can serve as International Service Team (IST) members.
- Participation Fees:
- Local Rovers: Ksh. 5000 per rover Scout, covers meals, on-site transport, and most program activities.
- International Rovers: contact the international commissioners office on email : internationalcommissioner@kenyascouts.org
- Vibe – Adventure + service + networking + fun.
The Moot Progrmme is geared towards:
- Promoting personal growth and leadership
- Building international understanding and peace
- Exploring Scouting’s values in action
- Inspiring service-oriented citizenship
- Enabling adventure and challenge
Activities will include:
- Hiking, rock climbing, survival skills
- Leadership & peacebuilding workshops
- Cultural nights & international food fairs
- Community service or environmental projects
- Forums on youth issues and global challenges
This Moot is one of the highest-level Scout events designed for young adults within the Scouting movement in Kenya.
