Cubs/Sungura Scouts (Ages 6–11)
Fun, Friendship & First Adventures
Sungura Section is where it all begins. Through crafts, games, nature walks, and simple community projects, young children discover the joys of teamwork and explore the world around them in a safe, nurturing environment.
Sungura Scouts are all about adventure and discovery. From cooking outdoors to learning essential life skills, Sunguras develop confidence, friendships, and a sense of independence.

- Earning badges for new skill
Chipukizi Scouts (Ages 12 –14)
Challenge, Resilience & Leadership
Scouts take their skills to the next level. With more independence, they participate in activities that build their character—hiking, camping, team projects, and outdoor survival.
Key Activities:
- Expeditions and hikes
- First aid and safety training
- Leadership and team roles
- Environmental projects
Mwamba Scouts (Ages 12–14)
Mwamba Scouts are engaged in programme activities that nature their leadership skills, outdoor skills, community service, environmental conservation, first aid, and personal development.
Mwamba Scouts work through the Mwanzo, Mwangaza, to Kilele stages, earning proficiency badges in areas like pioneering, conservation, first aid, and citizenship to reach the prestigious Simba Scout Badge.
These often involve setting up fully equipped patrol camps, performing flag parades, guard duties, and pioneering projects.
Key Activities:
- Lead and manage patrol camps
- Develop and carry out community initiatives (e.g., first aid, conservation)
- Engage in public service
- Build skills in pioneering, navigation, and campcraft
Rover/Jasiri Scouts (Ages 18–26)
Giving Back & Leading the Way
Jasiri Scouts support younger Scouts, organize large-scale events, and continue their personal development. It’s a space to stay involved, mentor others, and take on impactful community roles.
Key Activities:
- Peace & SDG Champions: Involved in “Messengers of Peace” peace‑building workshops and SDG‑aligned projects
- Environmental Stewards: Participate in sustainability campaigns such as the Plastic Tide
- Health & Community Service: Blood drives, adult literacy, agriculture, youth empowerment across counties
- Continued personal growth
- Leadership and mentorship
- Volunteering and social impact
- Event planning and management
